The Grounded – Premium Vietnam Arabica | High-Elevation Catimor - Espresso-grind 1Kg
High-elevation Catimor Arabica from Vietnam's Da Lat region.
Most people don't associate Vietnam with Arabica — this bean is here to change that. Grown on high-elevation farms near Da Lat (1,400–1,600 m), where cool mist and volcanic basalt soil slow the ripening of the cherry, The Grounded is a Catimor varietal: a hardy, rust-resistant cross between Caturra and Timor Hybrid, bred in Portugal in 1959 and now well established across Vietnam's highlands. Medium-bodied and velvety, with mild sweetness, milk chocolate, and gentle spice and herb notes — a smoother, brighter entry point for anyone who finds Robusta too intense.
Highlights
- Complex, balanced flavour from genuine high-elevation growing conditions
- A gentler, more approachable style of Vietnamese coffee, with brightness rather than harshness
- Sourced directly from Vietnam's Central Highlands for traceable, ethical quality
- Traditional phin filter for a black Cà Phê Đen, or with a light touch of milk
- Pour-over, AeroPress, or light espresso to bring out its brightness and mild acidity
